Green is rarely the star of wedding color palettes, so you can imagine how refreshing it was when this wedding came across our feed! This styled shoot took inspiration from a jade pendant and incorporated not just one but many different shades of green, from light mint to dark emerald, and of course jade. Set at the stately Château Bouffemont, this wedding design is a crisp modern take on a timeless estate wedding. The muted tones of the chateau make the bright greens pop even more.
Details Depres and Laura Andrea Wedding designed this wedding inspiration and brought together an incredible team of vendors to bring their vision to life. Histoires Sauvages created these show-stopping florals that incorporated white, yellows, and oranges in addition to the ever-present greenery. Aude A Deux Ailes focused on capturing elements of the color palette in every photo and really telling a story with the images. Pierre Et Julia was also there to film as this inspiration unfolded. For this wedding inspiration shoot, the story that photographer Aude A Deux Ailes and wedding planner Laura Andrea Wedding wanted to tell was that of a Chinese-French couple, Jialin and Jean-Charles. The story of these lovebirds took place in the classical and magnificent wedding venue that is Château Bouffemont, near Paris. To make this day unique, Jean-Charles offers his bride a pendant that is a replica of the jade pendant that her grandmother always wore. By this gift, Jean-Charles testifies his love for his bride, making a link between her past and their marriage. Both attached to traditional values and their wish to look ahead to their future as husband and wife, they share a cup of tea.
Jialin is wearing the "Operetta" dress by Suzanne Neville. To highlight the lines of this refined dress, only an impeccable bun by Reina Kim MUAH could do. White flowers as a hair accessory and golden earrings with pearls by Diana Martins Studio give Jialin a classy look, balancing the clean style of her dress with more baroque textures. As for the evening outfit, Jialin is wearing a more vaporous wedding dress, from the “Budapest” collection by Daalarna. The flowery bustier looks as if it were designed on Jialin’s very skin. Reina Kim MUAH created a modern wavy hairstyle to give Jialin a glamorous and sophisticated look. Only refined and chic wedding shoes could match both these dresses, and that is why the “Mathilda” and the “Charlotte” bridal shoes by Bella Belle Shoes were a natural match. The boudoir session was an unmatched opportunity to highlight modern creations by Djoline Joailliers–a green sapphire and rose gold ring, as well as a rose gold bangle with cube-cut diamonds. These jewels are a bold contrast from the rest of the bride's jewelry from the day–notably from the peach-tone engagement ring Jialin is wearing with the bridal dresses–to mark the difference between the before and the after of her marriage with Jean-Charles.
To echo the bright color of the jade pendant, which is at the heart of the story of this wedding day, the team wanted to celebrate the green color, in a palette of various shades. Green is a color that fine art wedding vendors seldom work on, that is why it was both a challenge and a unique project to highlight it. But florist Pauline from Histoires Sauvages and wedding designer Sainthya from Details Depres worked in harmony to create a wedding table that brought together a luxuriant vegetal presence and wedding stationery by Promesse Graphique that punctuated each place with vibrant green. The wedding stationery also paid tribute to this amazing wedding venue by featuring a bespoke imprint of Château Bouffemont. Synies' Paris also took up the challenge of celebrating the softness of green by designing a wedding cake with this unconventional color. She did so by wrapping the cake with an airy ornament of white and gold petal-like slices. The flowers of this wedding had to mirror the bright peach-tone color of both Jialin’s skin and her engagement ring. Pauline thus chose pastel salmon and soft orange flowers to enrich the palette of the flower compositions that embellished the reception tablescape, the cake table, and the wedding bouquet. This perfectly balanced result was fresh and gave a contemporary look to this wedding inspiration.
The budget for this wedding was $63,500. Please note that prices do change, and this budget breakdown gives you an idea of how much a wedding like this might cost you.
