Graffiti Wedding Ideas for The Wild at Heart

Stylish couple celebrates with balloons against graffiti wall

“Those who skate together, stay together.” was the motto and inspiration behind this urban alley shoot styled by Mein Distrikt and captured by Laura Möllemann. Graffiti and skateboarding was the resounding theme throughout the design which also featured a bold color palette of pink, orange, turquoise, silver, and black.

Graffiti art can be seen not only on the walls, but throughout the entire design along with a skateboard cake stand, and an amazing mobile bar serving up “Backflip” and “Drop In” cocktails inspired by skateboard tricks. Sayyy whhhhat! We’re convinced, this design totally works for a wedding so get ready to be blown away, and catch a closer look at all the details in the full gallery.

“Those who skate together, stay together.”

From Laura Möllemann: Our goal was to create something different. Not delicate and quiet – but loud and colorful. No white and soft pink – but the courage to color. No perfectionism – but deliberately unconventional. And all with cool graffiti art and casual with a skateboard under his arm. True to the motto: “Those who skate together, stay together.” We all love vintage and boho – but this time we wanted to dare something different. Color should be here, a creative and powerful location and also the models should be wilder and louder.

The right location – in the middle of Cologne was quickly found, a backyard with lots of graffiti. Although the briefing was “wild, courageous and colorful”, a few fixed parameters were defined: The color concept is based on three core colors on pink, orange, and turquoise accompanied by silver and black. The topic of graffiti should run like “a red thread” through the whole concept.

Pink and orange

A colored floral spectacle in pink and orange, complemented with black plates and cutlery and in contrast, elaborately designed napkins in graffiti optics, based on the paper goods. All in all gaudy, creative and eye-catching. Of course, the topic of skateboarding can also be found here – in the form of mini-skateboards with macarons as a gift. Another eye-catcher is the placard in graffiti style. Table & Chairs – Perfect is the combination of chair and table with the black iron feet, in combination with a bench – also very unconventional – very old school.

Mobile bar

“Twinkle, twinkle little star – point me to the nearest bar.” No problem with the mobile bar of MEIN DISTRIKT. Absolutely flexible no matter where or how you want to celebrate. Whether as a champagne bar, coffee bar or here as a gin and cocktail bar. Of course, the color concept – as well as the basic idea Mobil – is reflected in the bar concept. The cocktails are named after skateboard tricks like “Backflip” and “Drop In”. The colors also intense and colorful. Decorated with a wonderful balloon garland in silver and black – perfectly harmonizing to the brushed aluminum look of the caravan bar.
