After 10 years of dating, these two high school sweethearts had the destination wedding of their dreams in beautiful Cabo San Lucas. They dined under a canopy of twinkle lights for their outdoor reception and the romance is undeniable! From the bride’s beautiful tulle dress to their color-blocked rose wedding arbor, we love love love this beautiful day. highschool sweethearts

From the bride: Alex and I have been traveling to Cabo San Lucas with our family for years now so hosting our wedding there was always something we dreamed of. Having met in middle school and became high school sweethearts with a full 10 years of dating on our belts, we were excited to start planning our special day. My mother and stepfather were married in Cabo at Sunset de Mona Lisa 11 years prior, so when we finally decided on Cabo, we reached out to their wedding planner Karla Casillas, who we knew would lead us in all the right directions.

After visiting four different venues, tasting food and debating back and forth, we immediately knew Flora Farms was the perfect location for us. We left Flora Farms and went back the same day to book our date – when you know you know. We had been to Flora Farms previously for an amazing brunch celebration some years prior, so we knew we loved their entire farm to table aesthetic already. Once we walked onto the venue grounds though, we were transported into a breathtaking green landscape with an amazing red brick barn house that we knew fit our idea of the “perfect wedding venue”. With the farm to table dinner service, great open bar options and again, the setting on the farm, we knew this was a no brainer.

bold vibrant colors

Our wedding day was everything we had imagined and more. Over Thanksgiving weekend our 100 wedding guests escaped the hustle and bustle of the holidays to join us in celebrating our special day. At Flora Farms, the venue spoke for itself, and our guests were blown away. We were able to stay true to our style thanks to our wedding planner Amelia, who knew exactly what we were looking for and her expertise in the industry made us feel assured with everything we chose. Because we were in Mexico, we didn’t want to be confined to one specific color scheme, bold, vibrant colors were what we wanted. Stand out pieces that were a must-have for us like the rose arch as the backdrop to our ceremony, the neon “te Quiero mucho” sign that lit up our cocktail hour and the simplistic décor of our dining tables added everything and more to the entire setting for the night.

To top it all off, Sara and Ramon are such amazing photographers with a stunning eye for capturing every special moment. They are the definition of a dynamic duo! We opted out for a first look so we were looking forward to seeing our reactions when I walked down the aisle and they were able to capture the most amazing shots. Angel Zapien, our videographer, was on point the entire time. The video shows how he captured all the happy moments of the night and was able to beautifully blend them together. It was a day we will cherish forever and can now relive through all their fabulous work. Thank you forever!
