Get ready for an utterly romantic day-after session from Jesi Haack Design. Melanie shares with us in more detail on how all this prettiness came to life, so read on and be sure to enjoy all the photos by Katie McGihon. Morgan and Joe’s day after session was shot at a private residence in the Temecula wine country. We wanted to add vintage and modern details, to compliment the stunning setting. We hung lace canopies from the trees and a “curtain” of black lace strips for a feminine, vintage touch.
We hung mason jars with twine, filled with baby’s breath and added craspedia for a modern pop of color. Asparagus ferns were also hung in small tin buckets for a modern touch.
A sprig of baby’s breath with some asparagus fern served as a natural hair accessory for Morgan. And, we created a bouquet for Morgan made with dianthus green trick and baby’s breath, and wrapped in burlap and black lace – another play on vintage-modern.
