Chic Modern Wedding In A Historic Georgian Estate

Chic Modern Wedding In A Historic Georgian Estate

Modern fashion fuses with rich history in this wedding inspiration shoot in the village of Vazisubani in Georgia. The beautiful, ornate furnishings of the venue are juxtaposed by unique modern ensembles and a minimalist wedding design. The bride wore a sleek A-line column dress combo for the ceremony while the groom sported a classic black tux. Then, they both slipped into something a little more fun to dance the night away, with the bride in a voluminous sculped taffeta gown with an asymmetrical bow detail, and the groom in a white suit that he wore with brown leather accessories to keep the look more laid back.

Grey Chic and Tamara Gigola wanted to organize a shoot to showcase this lovely village and how modern it can be despite its historic roots. Dinara Almenova and Story Events designed these minimalist floral arrangements that add an air of modernity to the entire affair. Vazisubani Estate is a gorgeous private residence turned venue that is in the center of the village. Margarita Efimova kept the shoot current by opting for bright airy edits on the photos instead of leaning into the vintage feel. Kate Good Events was also there to capture the whole shoot on video. A GEORGIAN ESTATE

In a wonderful palace, surrounded by amazingly well-groomed vineyards, on the edge of the village of Vazisubani, a wedding organized by Tamara Gigola was planned as part of a workshop. Vazisubani Estate is a delightful, boutique-style retreat with a rich history dating back to the 1860s and was once the private residence of Tavadi Sulkhan Chavchavadze, a Georgian aristocrat. Inspired by traditional elegance and a smooth combination of modern style, Grey Chic created an atmosphere that combines the style and historical motifs of the estate.

Florist Dinara Almenova and Story Events used soft shades of seasonal flowers of the Kakheti region in their design. Murashka Wedding Atelier and Katya Kutz presented two wonderful dresses for the bride In one we see the lightness of the fabric and a minimalistic silhouette, while the other represents the conciseness of lines and a voluminous bow sleeve. This magnificent day ended with a luxurious dinner of Kakhetian cuisine in an open-air restaurant with mountain views, where each participant was able to immerse themselves in the beautiful natural environment of Vazisubani Estate.
