This is the ultimate micro wedding inspiration for any bride that has transitioned to a fall wedding, and we just can't get enough so keep scrolling to see all of the beautiful photos by Katrina Jayne Photography as she led a photography workshop with Jane Alexandra Events to mentor other wedding photographers on how to build, grow, and sustain their photography business.

All of these dreamy images are from the editorial section of the workshop where Katrina Jayne  teaches in action. Royal Bee Flower Co. created all of the amazing florals and Miguel Garcia Studios filmed this special day at Allegretto Vineyard Resort. You can see all the images in the full gallery and hear more about this shoot from  photographer Katrina Jayne.

With Covid-19 disrupting many couples' wedding plans, we know that brides who are planning an intimate elopement style ceremony will love this inspiration. The couple we used for this session is a real couple who were supposed to be married in Italy this June, but unfortunately their plans were derailed.

Our goal for this editorial was to create a fresh modern look while staying true to the classic Italian feel of Allegretto Winery, a California venue that transports you to Italy.

Black isn't usually a color we are naturally drawn to so when Jane Alexandra Events began her design with with this color I knew she had a distinct design vision in mind. To balance the modern details with the classic details, Jane pulled elements from the winery itself for inspiration. This is most apparent in the floral design.

For the tabletop, we chose a square table and incorporated a textured floor length linen. We knew the black chairs would give the design a modern feel and then incorporating classic elements such as the vintage cut crystal rocks glasses, stone white salad plates, and taper candles. We then mixed in modern grey stone dinner plates, modern candle holders, black flatware, a bold black and white striped napkin, modo glassware, and acrylic table number. The table setting is rounded out with a warm wooden charger that helps bring out the warm tones of the venue itself. Each place setting received a sprig of olives that gave it an extra touch because the venue is filled with olive trees. For a little extra color and natural element, we included pomegranates and pears as decor and place cards.

Lotus + Ash is a master in modern stationery design and the elements she chose played into the design flawlessly. Each place setting received a modern black square menu with white writing. We loved the idea of a square menu because it played off the shape of the table itself. The name cards has two black stripes to play off the black and white striped napkin. Knowing that we would incorporate some gold elements, she included gold string on the menu.

Since the editorial took place in Fall and the leaves on the vine had turned golden, Royal Bee Flower Co. incorporated fall leaves into the floral elements along with a creative mix of colors to give it a little brighter of a look.

The bride, Tiffany Scerbo, wore a Wtoo by Watters from Lili's Bridal, it's a satin modern gown with a V neck front and a bow in the back which we found out can be removed if the bride would would rather have no bow. This dress also has pockets- perfect for the modern bride.
