A Sepia Toned Daydream

A Sepia Toned Daydream

Dimming sunlight shines through floor-to-ceiling windows in this country manor house in Wales. A floral vine installation grows up the wall giving the whole place a mystical deserted feel, like these brides are the only two people left on Earth. Micro-weddings don't get more intimate than that! With two statement looks for the ceremony, including a stellar white suit, and two more minimalist looks for the reception, these brides are bringing their fashion A-game. The muted blush tones and dark shadows play beautifully together in this refreshing wedding inspiration shoot.

The sepia-toned lighting creates a warm aura that is present in each of these photos by Esme Whiteside.  Stories Of Events wanted this inspiration shoot to be fashion-forward while still being approachable for a real modern couple planning their own micro-wedding. Emma Cox Brocante created several floral installations that really set the mood for the entire shoot at Iscoyd Park. FEMININE ENERGY

A Sepia Toned Daydream

We wanted to create a really ethereal, feminine, and spring-inspired micro wedding shoot, at the uber-stylish wedding venue Iscoyd Park in Shropshire. Real couple, Luci and Gracey were the perfect models, and their connection was incredible all day. We used the room at the front of the venue for a micro wedding set up, utilizing the beautiful windows and the amazing light coming through for some real sun-soaked portraits. We styled the whole shoot with a real abundance of flowers for the feminine energy! Emma Cox created a meadow and tower for some beautifully stylish spring florals.

We set up another small ceremony space and table in the coach house, we loved the exposed brickwork and how the light flooded this space. Sarah the stylist, used soft pinks, lots of fabric and candles, and stoneware crockery for a little rustic edge. The stationery featured a beautifully delicate and intricate illustration of the venue, in the beige and pink color palette. The cake sat beautifully atop the windowsill in its pink marbled hues and white structural design features. We just wanted something really elegantly stylish to show this venue at its absolute best, and show how you can do small weddings in a super romantic way.

THE LOOKS

Katy at Mariee Bridal Couture provided all the gowns, which were romantic and feminine and suited the girls beautifully. Luci's suit was from Asos and definitely added an editorial edge. Daniella Ingle created a textured pony embellished with pearls on Luci, and a wave through Gracey's hair, with edgy, sultry makeup looks for both!
