French champagne for wedding

This photoshoot was inspired by the idea of daring to elope in unusual places because, if you do it, do it BIG! Right? The city of Paris has always been special and has always represented a special kind of love and romanticism. What was most important while planning this shoot, however, was adding something special – something out of the ordinary. The end result? A dreamy location with a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower that wasn’t too accessible: a.k.a. a Paris rooftop!

Parisian influence made its way into the attire for this shoot, courtesy of a French designer

Darina, the bride, is from Ukraine. She wore “Isis,” an amazing dress from Maite Bailleul, a French dress designer based in the north of France. The goal during this inspo shoot was to showcase the French know-how through her wonderful work. This dress exuded an elegant and wild vibe all at the same time. The groom, Julien, wore a Samson sur Mesure suit. The warm color contrasted with the cold winter temperatures and played with the color of the chimneys on the Parisian roofs.

The airy flowers were intended to match the airy nature of this rooftop setting

The florals were created for this shoot by the talented Mimi, a floral designer at Poetique Paris. The goal here was to create a beautiful airy bouquet with neutral colors and seasonal flowers. This same sense of airy neutrals was incorporated into the light and cozy decorations via blankets and pillows for the couple to sit and enjoy the view comfortably.

Popping French champagne completed the celebration of this stunning city view

When the sun went down, the couple popped a bottle of French Champagne to celebrate starting their lives together. Everything about this photoshoot inspired the unusual.
