Thursday Tip ✨⠀ ⠀ Brides, do not work with any vendor(s) who refuses to give you a contract.⠀ ⠀ I had a Bride come to me saying she had asked for a contract 3 times and gotten refused every single time.⠀ ⠀ I immediately told her, “Do NOT hand over any money without seeing a contract and making sure you agree with it.”⠀ ⠀ This is a red flag because you have no idea what the terms and conditions are, you do not know how the service will be fulfilled, there are no guidelines for what will happen if either party does not fulfill their duty, there’s no written pricing, the list goes on.⠀ ⠀ This Bride was told that a contract would be sent AFTER payment was received. ❌ That was the biggest red flag.⠀ ⠀ Planners and Coordinators aren’t just here to set up your wedding décor. We save you time and money. We protect you from getting scammed. We look over contracts with you to ensure that you are receiving the protection that you need. We become moral support. We recommend our favorite vendors to you — people who will offer a solid service/product who are likeminded in our goals and integrity.
