Once Upon A Fall Afternoon
From Audra Wrisley Photography: Amy and James’ boho wedding at the Salamander Resort was everything you’d expect from a free-spirited, hula-hoop Instagram star. Amy is one of the happiest, laid back brides I’ve ever worked with, and it was a dream capturing she and James’ epic wedding day in rural Virginia.
A highlight of the day was watching James await Amy’s arrival into the ceremony, by none other than a horse drawn carriage. This sweet couple spoke their vows under an incredible arch of hanging florals, and danced the night away with their family and friends.
Floral Family Ties
Amy’s family owns a local flower business, Twinbrook Floral Design in Virginia, and the floral designs from start to finish was incredible! Incorporating an abundance of greenery, succulents, seasonal blooms and unexpected elements like cattails and fiddleheads, the floral details were over the top at every turn. Amy’s floral crown and reception favors included healing crystals, echoing their incredible cake design.
