September 29, 2015 was the big day! We decided to head to Playa Del Carmen to celebrate my (Erin) birthday. We had so much fun hitting the beach and exploring the resort. That afternoon while were hanging out in the room waiting for the sun to go down, Fredarick asked me to go to the beach with him. As we arrived to the beach, two photographers Fredarick had secretly hired, Misti and Colin, were waving at us. I was so confused! When we finally walked up to the photographers, Fredarick explained that since we did not have any professional photos together he thought it would be a great birthday present to have some shot here on the beach. Sneaky, sneaky! I totally fell for it and had no idea he was planning to propose.
As we strolled along the beach taking photos and laughing, one of the photographers (Colin) insists that he needed to change the camera lens to better capture the gorgeous sunset. Wink, wink! When Colin and Misti walked away, Fredarick got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. It was such an amazing moment. I started the beach photo shoot as his girlfriend and finished as his wife to be.
