was referred to Kearsten and Kris after their original photographer had moved away. Lucky for us this meant they did a second round of engagement photos which turned out so so pretty! Everywhere this couple went they left beauty in their wake. A little champagne and a lot of love later and these stunning photos are
the end result.

First Phase Of A Beautiful Day
While they had already done engagement photos with another photographer –
I felt it was important for them to do another round of engagements
pictures with me this time, so they could get comfortable in front of my
lens and with my style behind the camera before the big day! Kearsten and Kris were so open to all my ideas and basically just said tell us
when, where and what to wear! When they showed up, you could tell they
were ready to have some fun!
We started at the gorgeous Estancia Hotel in La Jolla, CA. This shoot
was little tricky since it was a beautiful Saturday and Estancia had 4
weddings happening there that day! We managed to get some great photos
without photobombing any weddings or bridal party photos though.
A Special Move From Dirty Dancing
For the second half of our shoot, we had decided on Torrey Pines State Reserve to finish our session on the Broken Hill Trail. While it ended up being quite a hike – our timing couldn’t have been
more perfect. The sunset that evening was absolutely insane and it’s
hard to believe but I think their Love for each other was more gorgeous
to watch that night.
Highlight of the shoot: Near the end I asked Kris to dip Kearsten
followed by spinning her around and a few other lift type action shots.
As a joke I said, okay now I’m gonna have you guys do the ‘BIG MOVE’
from the end of Dirty Dancing…. Without Hesitation they were like,
YES! Let do it! Then, they actually did it! (insert laughing cry face emoji here!)
