DIY shimmering ribbon backdrop for party decoration

This is a slightly easier version of our Happy New Year Sign. While keeping the cute factor, you can do this project in a little less time. Again super perfect for a photo backdrop, desert table or alter backdrop. In the fact – the list is really endless on what you can do with this cute ribbon backdrop. Here is How To Make A Ribbon Backdrop. You need approximately 40 yards of ribbon, scissors, 30 twist ties and a 4ft wooden dowel.

How To Make A Ribbon Backdrop

1. Cut ribbon in to four foot strips and fold 2 inches of ribbon over the dowel
2. Pinch the ribbon and secure with a twist tie
3. Flatten the twist tie so ribbon is as flat as possible. Repeat until your dowel is full.
That’s it! Super easy right? Enjoy.
