Doilie DIY
Supplies:
Prettie Parties paper doilies | Printer | Exacto Knife | Glue Stick | Epoxy | Ribbon | 2×4
Steps:
1. Print out your seating assignments (1 table per page) and find something round, like a bowl, a vase or a can that will work as a stencil for cutting out each table assignment. Using your Exacto knife cut out each of your table assignments.
2. Use your glue stick to glue the table assignments to your Prettie Parties paper doilies.
3. Decide how you want your doilies to hang and measure and cut your ribbon with an additional foot to loop around your 2×4.
4. Loop your ribbon around your 2×4 and epoxy the extra foot of ribbon to the back of the rest of the ribbon, leaving enough room to slip the 2×4 through.
5. Epoxy your Prettie Parties paper doilie seating assignments onto the front of each ribbon and let dry for 1 hour.
6. You are now ready to hang up your doilie seating chart. We suggest either tying fishing line to either side of your 2×4 and hanging it up or purchasing four Command velcro strips for a similar floating illusion as pictured above.
