Do It Yourself, or DIY, wedding projects allow you to create your own personalized favors and touches that can be applied in any way you can imagine on your special day, for a shower, a party or whenever. All you need are some basic items and a little creativity.
These adorable Do It Yourself Place Cards made with spools of colorful thread and lollipop sticks are an affordable, simple way to add colorful hand-made details to your reception or bridal shower. You will need:
Card stock Complimentary colors of thread Lollipop sticks Craft glue Scissors
To begin, cut your card stock into whatever shape and size you like. You can also use special craft scissors to give the cards a scalloped or funky edge.
Either write or hand stamp your guest’s name onto the card cut out.
Next, use craft glue to secure lollipop sticks in between the card stock cut outs.
Simply drop lollipop sticks into center hole of thread spool and you’re done. So easy and so adorable!
