Bouquet Recipe
Banksia, bougainvillea, and cacti.
The base started with the large banksia blooms. I gathered them in my hand until they laid out nicely (banksia can grow crooked on a stem and it takes a bit of playing to get them to lay right). There were some natural gaps in the base of my bouquet and I tucked bougainvillea into these. The cactus paddles I cleaned of thorns and cut cleanly. I inserted wire and wood stakes in the base of the paddles and tucked them into the bouquet. I secured the whole thing with ribbon.
