We always love a little vintage flair, especially when it has an incredible backstory. Our next feature involves a local historical venue that has not seen any activity since a wedding in 1920- The Hawthorne Hill House. This historic location was the perfect spot to photograph a vintage-inspired bridal session.
The shoot is overflowing with bridal pose ideas, and you’ll love the floral wedding dress, custom-made by Nashville Gown Rental. This one-of-a-kind dress was made with vintage fabric, and make sure to notice the pearl detailing on the dress’s bodice is exquisite! As you already know, pearls are having a significant wedding moment.
A talented Nashville, Tennessee wedding team orchestrated Trademark Studios Photography captured these antique-style bridal photographs. Gossamer a sustainably-minded floral studio, designed all the wedding flowers in the shoot. Magnolia Wedding Company planned the entire bridal shoot. Historic Hawthorne Hill House
This soon to be bride came to us wanting a unique place to host her very special bridal shots for her wedding to be happening next October. The bride being a local to Nashville, her fiancé rising country music star knew we had the perfect spot for her. The historic Hawthorne Hill House was recently made available for our amazing photographer to use and knew it would be the perfect backdrop for our brides style.
The Hawthrone Hill House was built in 1805 and the last activity it had seen was a wedding in 1920 which just so happened to be the year the ring the bride wore was given to her fiance’s great grandmother.
It was a match made in heaven! We wanted to keep the design much like the houses present condition, simple and vintage.

The hair and make up was stunning and truly fit the theme perfectly. We always tell our clients when planning all the wedding things it’s so important to find something that connects with you as a bride or as a couple. It will always come through on your big day and show in your photos the love and connection you have to whatever it may be. In this bride it was the connection to the home and the history it had for her hometown!

Vintage Style Wedding Bouquet
Gossamer knocked it out of the park with a simple flowing arrangement on the original fireplace mantle of the home and then pops of lace and flowers throughout the home where the iconic shots took place.
They were white peonies, white roses, lily’s, Cafe au lait roses, dried greenery, ruscus, and dried tallow berries.
