Beer can bring people together ,and our next couple is a prime example. Not only did their first date involve their shared love of craft brew, but so did his proposal. So naturally Chrissy and Aaron's big day had a similar focus!

Craft Beer Life

From the Bride: I had no idea how our shared love of craft beer would come full circle until he got down on one knee at one of our favorite local breweries in front of our friends and families and asked me to marry him.

We decided to continue the craft beer theme at our wedding by incorporating a beer toast into our ceremony. We also used names of different beers from the brewery where we got engaged as our table numbers and gave out personalized koozies as thank you gifts for our 50 guests.

Weekday Wedding

Don’t be afraid to go against convention - we got married on a Monday! We were a little late to the game when we discovered the Stone House, so there wasn’t a single weekend available in the month we wanted. But from the moment we saw it we knew it was exactly what we wanted: a vintage-style outdoor venue with on-site accommodations for our guests, so we were determined to find a way. This decision ultimately became our biggest money-saver (as venue rates were lower for Monday through Thursday) and when you have a venue that is beautiful on its own you can save even more by not having to spend a lot of decorations.

After hearing countless times how the day goes by so fast, we realized that getting an amazing photographer to capture the key moments and details was going to be high on our priorities. Not only did Evangeline Lane have a style that spoke to us, she and Evan made my husband and I feel completely at ease, and the results speak for themselves.
