Three Days of Wedding Celebration on Sifnos Island Greece
Due to Covid-19, this couple had to cut down their guest list however they still wanted to have the full wedding experience and planned three days of wedding activities. They ended up with a magical and bohemian wedding in Greece that was overflowing with crip white and light brown details that perfectly accented their venue, Paradise Place Sifnos. The brides style was a gorgeous fairy gown from Tikei Exclusive and paired with gorgeous Swarovski jewelry.

THE LOVE STORY, FROM THE FIRST KISS TO A DESTINATION WEDDING IN SIFNOS ISLAND
Efi’s soulmate, Dimitris, is a world famous Greek bodybuilder, who also owns a gym house in his hometown, Aigio. They two met in high school, so you can say this is a high school romance, that does not need to be jealous of any Hollywood love story. Actually this could be an erotic comedy, ending in this amazing Cycladic scenery, with Efi and Dimitris’ cute cuddles, divine kisses and endless walks hand in hand under the hot Greek summer sun, in one of Aegean Island muses.
THREE DAYS OF WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY, THE GEORGE LIOPETAS’ EXPERIENCE
Efi and Dimitris, could not enjoy their wedding in the traditional Greek way, where every wedding has more than 200-300 guests, due to the Corona Virus restrictions. This could not be a fear factor for them, as their love was so so strong. So they decided to marry each other, with few family members and some close friends being present.
Despite the small invitation guest list, the bride and groom decided to ‘taste’ the full photographic experience, so they hired me and my team of fine art photographers for a full three day photography wedding services.
The first day was dedicated to their pre wedding portrait session, where Efi and Dimitris met for the first time in front of my lense, and then we continued with their welcome party, where the beautiful couple welcomed their beloved guests under the Apollonia’s full moon.
The next day was the official wedding day. The couple had chosen the best wedding scenery in Sifnos. The famous monastery of Panagia Chrisopigi would be our first backdrop, were Efi tied the knot to Dimitris. Amazing church with an amazing story behind it, which was build back in the middle age. After the wedding, the beautiful couple welcomed their guests at the reception venue, Paradise Place Sifnos. Dana Zafeiropoulou, owner of Infinity Events, had decorated the venue in an amazing way, using an amazing pampas grass and eucalyptus combination. The scenery - magical and boheme, with the details of crisp white and light brown being those to make our venue look like heaven. Efi’s fashion was an eclectic mix of a fairy gown from Tikei Exclusive and Sante Shoes. Nothing would be the same with all her Swarovski fine Jewellery.
The third day was dedicated to a beautiful Sifnos tour. We followed our beautiful couple to amazing places, including Apollonia, the capital of Sifnos Island and Apokofto beach, the beach with amazing view of Panagia Chrisopigi. Four hours full of portraits and amazing cute walks hand in hand could not end elsewhere but the Castle of Sifnos with the Church of Seven Martyrs being the one to steal the limelight.
Sifnos Island is one of my most favoured Greek destinations, especially if you are considering getting married there. These three days will be kept forever in our minds and I am sure, through our beautiful fine art images, Dimitris and Efi will forever cherish those days.
