Gorgeous florals + greenery, a his and her wedding lounge, and an amazing dessert bar are just a few of the details we love, and that’s just the beginning folks. Keep scrolling for more candid moments from Mirelle Carmichael, and don’t miss the full gallery after.
Focus on what's important
From Grace Lorenzen Events: When I first talked to Jenna about her wedding a few things stood out; she wanted to focus on the cocktail hour (make it two! and was dinner even necessary?), she wanted to make sure John's daughters felt special and included, and she wanted the day to be fun.
ceremony in the shade
The ceremony was perfectly staged under an old Higuera tree set in a vineyard, we hung a crystal chandelier over the altar and kept everything low key with benches & a few lush arrangements at their bases. We decided on an extended cocktail hour (with lots of appetizer stations & passed appetizers) and, a short seated dinner service (with just one plated course).
for the kiddos
We set up the sweetest tipi lounge for John's daughters with their own snacks & games (which they re-purposed at home after the wedding) and a separate kids table with legos & treats.
party in the barn
We transformed the barn on the property just for dancing; the barn was draped in greenery, there were two lounges (his and hers), a full bar (and a whiskey station), a dessert station (with the most perfect cake cones & rice crispy treats I've ever seen), and a photo booth that sparkled and stayed packed all night. The group was small and the barn was large, so we made sure to keep it cozy with rustic draping & soft lighting. It was such a sweet wedding to witness and be a part of!
