So, if you’re getting married later this summer or early fall, you’re probably already aware that it’s bridal shower and bachelorette season. As such, it’s the perfect time to get acquainted with an app that will quite literally change the way you and your guests party. Stitch! is a way to capture every perspective from every guest at a wedding, so by the time your wedding is over and you’re all tears, you have something to stalk for hours. Not to mention, when your videographer hands you over a perfectly-edited, flawless wedding film in, oh, two or so months, you’ll have a raw, uncut and unfiltered version for a counterpart. And if you ask us, it’s an even cooler compilation than the one you have to pay for…
There have been photo apps before, but this one has them beat.
On the real, you’ve seen photo apps claiming to be ‘the best thing ever’ for collecting guest photos ALL IN ONE PLACE, but we’re not kidding you, Stitch! has this thing down to a science. And the way they do it is just so much more fun!
Once you download the free app and login, you can create an “event” for your wedding - and get a unique code for use throughout your engagement. This code is what you’ll pass along to guests, so that they can share their photos and videos from all of your pre-wedding events ((engagement parties, showers, bach/bachelorette bashes, rehearsal dinners, etc.)) and wedding day itself. Guests can pick their favorite photos and ‘stitch’ them together to create a really unique and super special video montage. To give you a reference, it’s like putting together a story on Facebook or Instagram.
It’s social media, specific to events - and that’s great, because how many of you have held back from posting too much content from a particular event, solely due to your fear of being judged for spamming everyone who either wasn’t there or who you think won’t care that you had the ‘most epic day everrrrr!!!?’ On Stitch! you don’t have to worry that you’re being extra, because everyone else in your private group or in your private event was there // or at the very least interested in getting your updates.
Get ready for those RSVPs to start rolling in.
They also have an RSVP function in their app, and this is one of the best things about it. Whether you’ve sent an invite for a smaller event ((like your bach or bridal shower)) or the main event, you’re inevitably going to be even more attached to your phone - and mailbox, for that matter - to intercept all of those [hopeful] ‘yesses.’ Well, with Stitch! you’ll be even more excited to get those acceptances, because your guests can respond in really interactive ways. They can send a picture or video of themselves saying they ‘wouldn’t miss it for the world!’ or even use a cute text overlay or filter to make their reply even more smile-worthy.
Little things like this matter and bring comedic composure when you’re wedding planning and want to punch someone in the head on most days…
And say thank you to your crew, because they’ll save you from the blues.
No joke, the days and weeks after your wedding are going to suck. Yes, the day was a blast and yes, you looked 💣, but when it’s all over, you’ll be sad. And that’s when Stitch! will save you. You’ll look at everything that’s been aggregated in the app - under your unique code - and you’ll 1) get to see you and your guy or girl in all your glory, 2) get a glimpse of things that you either totally missed, because 🥂🥂🥂or because you were busting your asses thanking everyone for coming, and 3) get a first-hand look at your guest experience - after all, that’s what people will remember your wedding for, so it best have been baller!
After your event, you can make a digital album using all of your guest pictures and videos and replay it over and over and over again - with your wedding song in the background - until you get bored or get inspired to plan your next event. Either way, you’ll be rid of your blues, promise!

Download Stitch! in the Apple Store (Android coming very soon) to see an example of how the app was leveraged for Susana and Hayes’s wedding. Once you’ve got it on your phone, enter the code “guestbook” to view the wedding. It’s so beautiful and obvi the guests loved being able to document the whole thing - from start to finish.
… Oh and how about this? Before a great wedding, there's usually always a baller bachelorette. RSVP with the song you hope gets played on the most epic weekend ever #playlistinprogress.
It all starts with a text...
We partnered with Stitch! to give you a great idea to make the post-wedding blues so not a thing. As always, thanks for supporting our sponsors!
