We chose New Orleans for our styled shoot because frankly, we wanted to have a little fun after quarantine. There is no better place in the world to encapsulate southern style and "laissez les bon temps rouler", let the good times roll. We felt like brides are so ready to get back to having festive weddings that we wanted our theme to be fresh, colorful, and capture the spirit and style of New Orleans.
I honestly don't know if we would have been able to capture that feeling without our model, Kendra. She absolutely brought the style to life and made all the images sing with her joyful personality. She was amazing! ~Ann-Marie Wyatt, owner, Taylor Square Photography
from Ellen Thomas
"Race & Religious is such a beautiful and unique space so when designing we wanted to highlight the seated tablescapes, ceremony site, and lounge seating without taking away from the building's distinct structure. As for the color palette, we knew we wanted it to be super colorful with pops of coral, yellow, blush, etc.
Once we began designing other colors appeared and it works flawlessly, like magic!!I loved the different elements of the tablescape. Mixing the crystal liqueur glasses with the white coupe milk glass blended perfectly with the blue willow plates!" - Ellen Thomas, Ellen Thomas Event Design
From TCB Floral Design
"Floral design is one of the elements of a wedding day that can truly create MAGIC for couple and guest alike. We jumped at the opportunity to work with such talented vendors at one of the nation's most beautiful historic venues. Using seasonal ingredients in your floral design is one of the best ways to ground your celebration in an organic way, as well as tell the story of the season in your photography and videography.
