Okay, as someone who can spend hours scrolling on Instagram, I am floored when I find a feed that is - top to bottom - flawless. Every photo so meticulously-curated, every caption so thoughtful and inspired, the entire grid just so effortless and cohesive. It’s a beautiful thing. And that’s exactly what I’m talking about with Erica Elizabeth Designs. The brand has been bringing it since 2007, designing wedding headpieces, crowns and bridal veils all inspirited by centuries past. We got the download from Erica Elizabeth’s chief designer, Erica, and we’re so pumped to tell you all about her newest Remember Me collection. It’s seriously haunting, and we mean that in only the best way.
But first, a snapshot of this LA-born brand
Erica is a veteran in her craft, and she’s been enamored with the wedding world for over 25 years. While she was working towards a degree in jewelry fabrication and fashion, she found a job at a small bridal shop to help pay her way through college. It was here that she began honing her skills making wedding accessories, and it was a catalyst for her first big career move - to leave the shop and make her accessories hustle a full-time thing, all on her own. She started small, working out of a tiny apartment, and selling her pieces wholesale to local bridal salons. And once that took off, she moved into a much larger space and kind of went on autopilot, selling her confections to hundreds of retailers and department stores, becoming legit, but feeling like she was losing herself and her passion.
Once those feels became too much to bear, she called it quits and walked away from the corporate milieu to pursue her original passion - making pieces that were distinctive and created with hand-detailed craftsmanship. She wanted to get back to the personal side of things, where her headpieces, veils, crowns, and pins could have meaning again, especially in relation to one of the happiest occasions in a woman’s life: her wedding. As soon as she could reset, Erica Elizabeth was born - both the brand AND the person. All of her designs are created with a focus on uncompromising craftsmanship and beauty, and she takes great pride in knowing that everything in her shop is bespoke, beautifully-packaged and shipped to women around the world.

Remember Me’s muse
Everything that Erica makes is unequivocally influenced by a bygone era, but she breathes new life - new energy into her pieces by working with amazing materials, layering relics of the past with current trends ((she was an early adopter of the mixing metals trend, and her brides have loved her for it!!), and constantly evolving her techniques.
She’s been killing it with her namesake for 10+ years, but her newest ‘Remember Me’ collection is by far the most intimate. The capsule honors all the different kinds of families around the world and celebrates sweet notes of nostalgia. Every piece was personally stirred by a moment in time frozen in a vintage photograph. If you look at her Instagram page, you can see the headpieces, crowns, pins, all styled in vignettes of photos and artifacts from Erica’s own life. It’s deeply moving and incredibly appropriate for a wedding, when families are coming together, creating memories, and anticipating a love-filled future.
The 27-piece collection reveals headpieces, bands, crowns, pins, and veils that are all vastly different, but incredibly connected - something that speaks to the very nature of a wedding, to connect people from all walks of life in the celebration of one blessed union. It’s stunning and arresting, whimsy and romantic, subtle and provocative, earthly and otherworldly, and the perfect marriage of old and borrowed to create something new. We can’t even pick a favorite.
We’re OBSESSED and so was this bride
“This is a beautiful piece. After searching high and low for the perfect headpiece (and ordering a few through other shops that were just disappointing) I decided on one from Erica Elizabeth Designs. I was nervous about spending this much without being able to see it or try it on, and not being able to return it, but it was worth every penny of the price. The quality is stunning. It came in the most beautifully-presented package; it fits comfortably, and photographs gorgeously. Don't waste your time looking anywhere else. If you see something from the shop, I highly recommend ordering it. It was one of the best decisions I made, and I am ecstatic to wear this on my wedding day! Excellent shipping, craftsmanship & packaging, etc. Thank you so much!” ~ Kristen, New Jersey
