This modern styled shoot focuses on millennial couples. They are looking for new experiences and willing to do things their own way. Inspired by this feeling of breaking traditions and freedom we created a unique celebration of love that is tender and different in an exceptional environment.
The design is centered around the contrast between the modern and brave spirit that characterizes millennials and their sweet and naïve side. We reflect this duality with a fresh, fun, and contemporary styling with a subtle wink at the innocence of youth.
The color palette conjurs up the same idea by mixing the softness of pastel colors with metallic silver and black. This color range is the base for the rest of the elements like clothing, decorations, and flowers.
The floral design also leans on contrast, combining the cold dark greenery with the warmth of soft pastel painted tropical leaves.
When selecting the style for the wedding stationary, we looked for a youthful and fun element on which to base the design. We took the typical children’s lollipop, designed them in methacrylate, and transformed them into the invitations, place cards and seating plan. They serve as a common thread and as a differentiating element of our creative concept, an adult world with a teenage soul.
Ezra and Gala's micro wedding began with a romantic walk by the city to the venue, a luxury palace built in 1929 and marvelously redecorated. This is the perfect spot for the occasion. For this shoot, we focused on two main parts of the venue: the backyard and the interior water feature.
The natural light is the perfect setting for an intimate and cozy ceremony. We made the space our own, creating a modern altar with a floral column in the porticoed facade. Candles and smaller floral arrangements on the opposite railing serve to break the rhythm and generate asymmetries.
With gray as a starting point, we chose the outfits: elegant yet surprising for the occasion. The bride wore a gown that featured a futuristic silver bodice with a low cut neckline. It is adorned with ruffles and has a sheer skirt that highlights the figure as she walks. For him, a modern gray slim suit with military boots and a high collar.
Dinner For Two
The second scene is the hotel’s private indoor swimming pool. We had fun using the space in a different way than it's usually used. We loved the contrast between this classic architecture, with its neutral forms and materials, and avant-garde elements like the neon sign. It was interesting transforming the space giving it life, color, and fun without taking away its warmth and softness.
We set a romantic candle dinner for two with a modern but cozy decoration. An easy and elegant table with a pastel pink base and small black and silver for contrast.
For the afterparty, Gala and Ezra wear two wild and relaxed outfits. A short whimsical dress in pastel colors with a touch of metallics for her. Sweet colors contrast with the sixties feeling of the frill. The denim jacket is the focal piece in the modern and contemporary look for him.
