We can always count on Rue De Seine to rock us with the coolest bridal fashion every single season, and it’s, of course, because the brand and its designers have a distinct point of view for each daring wedding drop. Their newest collection is unsurprisingly fresh and modern, and all we can say is: if you fangirled over “Blue Crush” as much as we did back in 2002… and you still sometimes dream about being a North Shore rockstar, like the great Kate Bosworth before us, well then you’ll probably think this [pipe]line-up is bitchin’: Rue De Seine: Wave Rider.
The muse
Wave Rider is a new modern bohemian bridal collection for the dreamers, the sun chasers, and the adventurous brides looking for a gown just as unique as they are. The silhouettes are inspired by the ocean and the nature around us, incorporating bold embroideries, billowing shapes, and textural prints.
To be completely honest, the dresses aren’t just for beach-wedding brides, either. Sure, they look sick, fanned out on the shoreline or emerging from the salty, frothy sea with all their fierceness, but what blows our minds the most is just how iconic each of these styles is. They’re fierce and commanding, while at the same time incredibly ethereal and feminine. In a word, they’re badass—just like the girls were in “Blue Crush.” Powerful, unapologetic, and heroic. And who wouldn’t want those kinds of strong and sassy vibes for their exchanging-vows visage?
I’m personally obsessed with the artful cutouts and versatility of coverage from puffs and petals to asymmetrical and bishop sleeves. But we’d be remiss if we left out the pièce de résistance of every Rue collection...
