Sexy Rooftop Elopement In Denver That Ends In A Bathtub

Electric Rooftop Elopement

From the billowing sleeves and plunging neckline of the gown to the warm autumn tones, this sexy styled shoot is giving us major 70s vibes and we're living for it! We're also obsessed with the pop of red and bright orange that set this shoot apart from the neutral tones that are dominating weddings of today. In addition to her stunning gown, the bride rocked a voluminous pony, that's reminiscent of style icon Priscilla Presley, who is definitely in the zeitgeist with the new Elvis biopic coming out. The groom also looked cool and collected in a textured brown suit.

These photos by Kasitimbay Photography capture the trippy spirit of the disco era. Kasitimbay Photography was inspired by the sleek and sexy design of The Rally Hotel. They teamed up with Blumen Haus to create coffee-toned florals and was over the moon when they introduced some bright colors into the mix. Keep reading to hear more from Kasitimbay Photography about how everything came together to create this magic. For even more inspo, be sure to check out the full gallery!

A SPICY VISION FOR A SEXY VENUE

Electric Rooftop Elopement

The Rally Hotel in downtown Denver, minutes from Coors Field, offers amazing views to make you really feel like you're a mile above the city. As a photographer, I knew this would be a prime location to have a spicy elopement. I knew that in order for this to happen with the vision I had, I would need the spiciest team Colorado has to offer. I reached out to Valen with Blumen Haus who I've had the pleasure of creating with before. I told her I wanted a coffee-colored palette but then I told her to feel free to get spicy with it because I truly trusted her creative judgment. Next, I reached out to Lina who is Colombian, so talk about spicy–in all the best ways of course. I sent her the vision of hair and makeup, which included chic and rock n roll vibes.

On the day of, I walked into The Rally hotel and was greeted by the amazing staff and was mesmerized by the modern aesthetic of the hotel. The Rally has tons of texture throughout the entire hotel that offers a great variety of photo-worthy spots everywhere you look. I stepped into the elevator that had a bunch of orange lights with mirrors going all the way up which truly was a vibe. I made it to the 11th floor which is where the magic was about to happen. Lina got there, and since the hotel is so big, I had to walk down to get her to make sure she didn't get lost. Blumen Haus texted me that she had arrived, I went down to get her, and my jaw dropped. I knew the magic she could create, but she really exceeded the entire concept with the bouquet. The bouquet was adorned with marigold garland and reddish coral roses on top of coffee roses, with pops of yellow acacia. She truly brought the exact amount of spicy that we needed to tie all of this together.

GIVING ALL THOSE GODDESS VIBES

Electric Rooftop Elopement

It was time to shoot! Kirsten was a total vision brought to life, she was in the "Sorvete" gown by Willowby from A&be Bridal, with a face beat to the gods and a messy-chic ponytail that Lina custom styled. We then headed to the roof where I started creating with the magic this insane vendor team brought. I knew for a fact that after the rooftop I would need to use all the amazing elements that The Rally has to offer, including the stunning modern bathroom. I just had to have Kirsten and RJ hop into that bathtub in true rockstar fashion, and I must say it was the best way to end the night!

SOME ADVICE FROM THE PRO

Electric Rooftop Elopement

1. Trust Yo'self-when you have a vision stick to it and pick friends willing to help you execute that vision.

2. Location-scouting locations can be time-consuming but always pays off.

3. Vibe with your Vendors- you not only love their art but also love their vibe. It's important the florist has creative direction and self-expression in florals, that's how all the magic happens.
