When it rains it pours but luckily for this couple it waited until after they said their I do's and shared a sweet kiss. The rain sure didn't make this wedding any less beautiful though, it's a gold mine for pretty mint and pink wedding ideas of the rustic variety!
Boots and beautiful blooms start the day off right and everything ended with two delicious looking cakes, so what's not to love? Take a closer look at the plethora of details in the full gallery here, photographed by Andie Freeman Photography.
How They Met
We met at a Travis Tritt concert. It was both last minute plans for us. The crowd literally parted when our eyes first met. We've talked everyday since. We are completely opposites so we compliment each other. Chris is extremely spontaneous and I am a planner and rarely try new things.
It was a Tuesday night and my intentions were to eat and have him watch the show Pretty Little Liars with me but when I got to his house he had other plans. He began to act strange and said that I may not want to ever marry him because he was probably going to annoy me for the rest of our lives. I thought nothing of it. I got ready to watch TV, but when I turned around there was Chris down on one knee asking me to be his wife.
Chris and I made our guest bench. It was my first time using a drill. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he took me to Home Depot and we got the materials and built it, painted it and got the decal. Just another this we got to do for the wedding and spend time together doing it. Even though it rained we got 2 beautiful rainbows. My sister in law told me that its rained on all Bishop weddings so it was good luck! My favorite moment of the day was seeing his smile as I walked down the aisle. Chris's favorite moment was the kiss sealing the deal of the marriage.
First Look In Advance
From Andie: And did it rain!! Wow. It didn't just rain, it stormed a truly Southern summer thunderstorm. The forecast was calling for 80-100% chance of storms all day. So we were a bit unorthodox and Paisley and Chris actually did their first look the day before the wedding. We actually got really lucky and it didn't start to storm until after the ceremony. It did give us beautiful rainbows and a sunset that was to die for though!
