A Meaningful Venue

Teleki Ranch holds every good childhood family memory for me; it was where I fell in love with Alex and it was where we wanted to start our life together with our wedding day.

Handcrafted Wedding

What I loved the most about our day was that the details were all handcrafted and authentic. From the shotgun shell boutonnières that came straight from a trapshooting event the day before, to the hand painted signage from my mother, to the log pedestals lining the aisle cut by Alex earlier in the week from nearby trees. Everything had a story to it and the hands of our friends, family and wedding planner brought all the parts and pieces together in a beautiful way.

Wedding Party Seating

One thing I would do differently would be to make sure I had seating reserved for the wedding party and their dates. The wedding party arrived to dinner after being introduced to the guests and had to separate to take their seats. Initially I thought it would be easier to allow them to pick their own seats, but ultimately having their seating reserved together would've helped with the flow.

Read on to see how much this pink and blue cowboy wedding cost. Please note that costs change as the years go by, and prices are subject to change. This is just one couple’s breakdown to give you a rough estimate on how much a wedding like this may cost you.

Budget Breakdown:
Catering (appetizers, salad, main course, wedding cake, and boxed lunches for the day before the wedding)=$8,035
Wedding Planner: $4,502
Rental Equipment (tables, chairs, decorations, restrooms, generator, water truck) : $12,00
Beverages (wine, beer and liquor) purchased by bride's family: $3,000
Hair and Makeup for 8 Bridesmaids and Bride: $1,725
Shuttle to and from hotels and ranch: $3,000
Invitations and Announcements (self addressed): $780
Decorative flowers: $1,200
DJ: $1,200
Photography (2 photographers, 2 days): $2,350
Wedding Dress with alterations: $4,000
The ceremony, reception, and rehearsal were at my family's ranch so there was no cost associated with that. However, many things such as a generator, water truck, and portable restrooms need to be brought in. There were a total of ~120 people for the ceremony and reception.
