on the ceremony decorFor the ceremony, we hung window panes and tulle between all of the posts to give it a more intimate feel. We also hung fabric in the back that came down to the top of barn shutters to enhance the more intimate feel.

At the front of the tabernacle we placed 3 old doors with old fences on either side and fabric draped to draw all of the elements together. My bridesmaids sat in old antique chairs for the ceremony. My dad, gave me away and married us so that was something very special.

A staircase was set up with mason jars that had yellow striped straws and a vintage-like label wrapped around them. Each label had the guest's name on it and their table number.

Antique plates and napkins that were handmade by friends and family set the tone for this rustic inspired table decor.
Arrangements of bright dahlias, sunflowers, wild flowers, and lavender were housed in burlap wrapped mason jars. Each arrangement was set perfectly on tree slices, that were covered in vintage dollies.

Coffee lover's wedding favors-
Stephen and Emily gave each guest a burlap bag of authentic Honduran coffee wrapped with lace trim. The labels were wrapped around the bag with twine, and if you notice they used the same labels for the favors and the escort cards. Buying in bulk not only keeps a consistent look and feel throughout, but also saves on cost.

Emily on her budget break down Okay, here is the basic breakdown of our expenses . . . to be honest we really shopped around, used coupons and waited for sales! We bought a lot of stuff from Goodwill, yard sales, Craigs list and online! My wedding dress was the most expensive item that we purchased and I actually cried when we bought it because I felt terrible for spending that much, But it was beautiful and I wouldn't change a thing.Throughout the whole wedding planning process, my parents were without jobs, my fiance (now husband was teaching at a school in Honduras where his salary was minimal, and I was working with a ministry living on people's support. So all that to say, that I am a firm believer that if you have a vision for your wedding, and the price seems unbearable, it can happen.
