One Of The Coolest Ceremony Setups We’ve Ever Seen, And It’s Not Just Because Of The Ice Sculptures

Utterly Chic

Smoke and showgirls greeted the bride and groom as they arrived at this unconventional take on an English manor house wedding. A fusion of East and West mesh beautifully in this inspiration shoot where color takes center stage. Shades of magenta, emerald green, and gold pop against the classic neutral backdrop. If this shoot wasn't cool enough, this team brought in an ice artist to create several custom sculptures that really give an edge to the whole affair!

Dry ice and smoke bombs give these photos by Andy Mac an otherworldly feel. Tes Moments sourced an amazing network of international vendors to bring us this over-the-top multicultural shoot. Sarita B Floral Design created all of these amazing floral installations. No Ordinary Films UK was there to capture every moment as this inspiration shoot came to life. All the images are in the full gallery, so be sure to click through and read on to hear more from Dooshi Kallee from Tes Moments.

AN INTERNATIONAL AFFAIR

Utterly Chic

The design for this shoot was a modern wedding followed by an Asian-fusion reception. I collaborated with a mix of 30 vendors from the UK and US. Though the pandemic has made it more difficult, we can still work globally and communicate via WhatsApp and Zoom. Everything was bespoke. Even with intimate weddings, one can still bring all the elements of the bride and groom's vision to life.

Minley Manor was the perfect location for this shoot, as its French Style matched the theme. It is an exclusive venue and has the perfect vibe for intimate and big weddings alike. Who wouldn't want to have their wedding in this beautiful manor? Plus, fun fact: the movie, Enola Holmes was recently filmed in this very spot!

For the first part of the shoot, the color palette was emerald green, gold, and white as simplicity and elegance was the vibe I wanted to create. The florist, Sarita B Floral Design, used greenery comprised of eucalyptus and delphinium to create a 4D experience, something guests could see, feel, and smell. The cake from Dolce Lusso Cakes was simple but referenced details from the dress. Simple can be stunning, luxurious, and elegant.

A SWEET SUITE

Utterly Chic

For the invitation suite, we paired a custom monogram and modern typography details with a more traditional South Asian design based on our Northern Palace and placed the finished product in a luxurious box. It's traditional to offer Indian sweets when delivering an invitation to a guest, in South Asian culture. We decided to add a fusion element to this tradition by creating a boxed invitation with a compartment for French macarons to match. When Atelier Azure first had the idea, she reached out to the dessert vendor, Sugar Box Events, to provide matching French macarons for the boxed invitation. The final invitation featured gold foil-pressed details, a laser-cut pocket with a gold tassel invitation. The compartment was separated by clear acrylic so that the beautiful macarons were displayed. The inside lid of the box featured a quote from a 16th-century Indian poet. We matched the WOW factor from the invitation with engraved and laser-cut gold mirrored acrylic details for all the other pieces.

AN EXTRA COOL CEREMONY

Caroline Castigliano’s gown, "Rosalee" from the latest 2021 "Love Story" collection was featured along with a black Bespoke Indo-Western jacket with micro velvet cutwork and delicate embroidery from Ahsan's Menswear. Each ensemble oozed the sense of chic elegance and fusion vibes. For both parts of the shoot, fine jewelry from Pugata was used and the hair and makeup from Fatin Hasado MUA enhanced the bride's natural beauty by creating this elegant and chic look.

The entrance of the bride was highlighted with dry ice from Exciting Fireworks to give the aisle a dreamy feel. We also had an ice frame from PSD Ice Art which replicated the color palette and showcased the different ways that ice sculpture can be utilized.  After the ceremony, we had a luxe-style grazing table from The Curated Kitchen UK, who provided that Insta-worthy “wow” factor-a feast for the eyes.

A COLORFUL FUSION

For the second part of the shoot, which focused on the Asian-fusion reception, the vision was to have an explosion of colors. The color palette was emerald green, cassis, and gold. Besides the color palette, the inspiration also came from the details of our bride's outfit. The bride's reception ensemble is from Ekta Solanki’s latest collection, "Esme". Ekta is very well known for the details on her clothing and this fusion lehenga complemented the traditional brocade design and Barnasi shawl menswear from Ahsan beautifully.

As we know, in an Asian wedding, grandeur is what everyone is looking for. We had the bride and groom arrive in sports cars–a Mercedes GTC, and a Ferrari F12. They were welcomed to the venue by show girls and smoke bombs for dramatic effect. Cocktail bars are is very popular of late, and Azurebar Events created custom drinks and used different glassware to add another element of luxury to the event

EVERY LITTLE DETAIL

For the reception, the florist had foliage sprayed in gold to create a very opulent look and feel, which perfectly tied into the outfits, the table settings, the stationery, and the balloons. The color palette of the table setting was a mix of cassis and pink hues and it worked very well with the elegant white damask linen from Just 4 Linen. The gold cutlery, clear charger plate with golden rim, and the gorgeous emerald tumblers from Duchess and Butler brought the table to a different level. The ice sculpture was bespoke and inspired by the bride and groom's attire. The cake design also incorporated elements from the lehenga and used sugar flowers to reference the florals.

Atelier Azure, based in LA, was able to design and produce menus, a monogram cake topper, dessert and food signage, place cards, and an invitation to bring together all aspects of this shoot. Our objective was to make each detail jaw-droppingly beautiful and level up all expectations for a dream event. This shoot was so much fun and the venue, designer/planner, and all the other creatives were a dream to work with! While big weddings might be on hold, one can still create an over-the-top experience by incorporating all of your dream elements into an intimate wedding.
