In the Northern part of Italy, there is a historical abbey by the Piave River that represents beautiful ancient ruins. The Abbey of Sant'Eustachio was a Benedictine monastery from 1000 AD, the remains of which are perfectly preserved and create an evocative space, on top of a hill. This amazing team fell in love with this amazing location and loved the idea of utilizing this area for a romantic elopement.

DETAILS AND JEWELRY
From Un Giorno su Misura: We asked ourselves how can we incorporate realistic and enchanting inspiration? We thought the best solution would be simplicity, unicolor, lightness, elegance, but in a modern way. We used dried and unusual flowers like gerberas, and we included a beautifully matching cake.
That morning the weather forecast was worrisome. It was supposed to be raining all day, but we fortunately only saw rays of sunshine. This stunning couple met at University and have been inseparable ever since! A little shy but very sweet, their love effortlessly radiates through these images.
REMARKABLE VENUE AND florals
The dress is an artisanal model by Carla Spose, an Italian tailor who designs, produces and creates the designs which are all tailored made. We dreamt of having an elegant but delicate dress, very simple in fabric and shape, but still completely desirable. A "minimal-chic" moment for the bride-to-be.
We love the simplicity of utilizing gerbera flowers. We wanted to give them a new sensual value, finding them perfect for context and inspiration. The idea was to do everything tone on tone, with the vibe that almost everything was ready to disappear in front of the beauty and majesty of the abbey. The plexiglass columns on which we suspended the flowers created a truly magical and singular floating effect.
ETHEREAL TABLE DECOR
The cake is made with a unique texture. A special technique was replicated of the Japanese contour enhancing the cracks of some broken ceramic, welding them with gold. The fault lines on the outside of the cake representing where golden light passes.
If we analyze the table carefully, we see that everything is perfectly the same color: it is not accidental. The cutlery, mats and jars have been personally hand-colored, painted and treated by me to convey this minimal, elegant and unique style.
The architecture of the location inspired every aspect of this shoot. It was very important to find details and a style that would help us be able to visually tell this poetic love story of history and mystique.
