Love Is Love In These Gorgeous LGBTQ+ Wedding Photos
Chicks, the last month has felt like a blur - really, it has. And we don't even know half of the struggles in this radical time of change. That said, this week, we felt energized. We felt like some wind was back in our sails, back in our sails as an industry. And, obviously, only time will tell whether everyone is authentically committed to upending these societal challenges or full of s**t (God, never have we hoped for the former more than ever before), but here at Wedding Chicks, we’re in it for the long haul. We promise that equality, inclusivity, modernity, and open-mindedness will be considered prerequisites at the forefront of everything we do, everything we cover, and everything we put our name on. It’s a vow.
To us, every love is special, sacred, and shareable (that sounds crude, I know, but really, in the incredibly social world we live in, a beautiful love story showed off or a heartening wedding celebration hyped up are huge deals), but this month, we’re shining a light on promises pledged by members of the LGBTQ+ community. All weddings matter, of course they do, but in June it’s Pride that we’re remembering and celebrating.
The couples in the photos below are proof of pure joy, a feeling that all of us experience on our wedding days - and we’re excited AF to continue seeing this wedding universe of ours showing up for the passionate pairs getting ready to go all in on their forevers. We’ve come a long way, but there’s so much learning, growing, and unifying still to go.
Every engaged couple just wants to feel comfortable in front of the camera on their big day, so when you have a photographer who supports you through-in and throughout, the smiles can just keep on coming.
