Since the day we met, we knew it was love. It was love that kept us united, overcoming the long distance relationship across so many different countries and time zones. It was love that conspired for us to be together! Exactly one year after his surprise proposal in Vienna in the romantic Volksgarten park, close to the splendid Imperial Hofburg Palace, we found ourselves saying our "I do's" at the magical and gorgeous Mykonos!

We always knew we wanted a destination wedding, and Mykonos was just ideal for its combination of stunning golden beaches, transparent waters, picturesque old town, beautiful paysage, and sophisticated and fun nightlife! Our wedding was full of emotions, laughters and joy, topped with the perfect dose of Mykonian sun and wind!

We had so many incredible moments and memories to remember and cherish, from our emotional first look under a charming white washed Church, to our heartwarming ceremony, sunset drinks and epic dancing until dawn, against the most pristine and spectacular sea view! We were so blessed to be surrounded by so many of our wonderful friends and family, who had traveled near and far from all over the world to be with us and celebrate our love!

From Lily of the Valley:

In the cosmopolitan island of Mykonos, Gaelle and Habib tied the knot in front of their closest friends and family. Their wedding day was filled with tears, laughter, and joy with their loved ones who traveled from all over the world to be present.
The island’s natural beauty provided a gorgeous ceremonial backdrop with stunning panoramic views of the Aegean Sea. The soft nude color palette the beautiful couple chose, incorporated ivory blooms with hints of gold and peach, shades that framed the beauty of Saint John hotel while blending with the natural ambiance.

The rustic yet elegant style of the wedding was completed with lush greenery and golden accents. Loose florals enhanced the organic, natural feel of the wedding theme and suspended candles infused both light and romance into surroundings. Heartfelt details complemented the many ornaments, making this a very personal event.

The wedding was also wonderfully entertaining; The DJ played upbeat tunes which led everyone to dance till the late hours of the night. At midnight a Greek band fired up the dance floor with traditional Greek music and plates breaking to the delight of guests. It was indeed a beautiful night!
