When so many couples are opting for crisp neutrals, it's always exciting and refreshing to see a wedding that embraces color. This jewel-toned garden wedding is the perfect example of how much color can set the tone for a celebration, if done right. The sapphire blue seen in the groom's suit, the lounge, and the linens is the perfect foundation for a color palette. It's deep and vibrant at the same time and will look great in your wedding photos on your wall for years to come. The bridesmaids' mix and match dresses ranged from deep ruby to navy and paired beautifully with the warmer florals seen throughout the wedding design.
This couple turned to Atlas Design Studio to help them plan a wedding that not only reflected both of their personalities but incorporated both their Persian and Mexican cultures. We love that these florals by Seascape Flowers used a lot of the colors from the Sofreh Aghd to tie in the Persian theme to the reception tablescapes as well. Shannon Rosan took these vibrant photos and captured every special moment between these two lovebirds. THE PERFECT FUSION
Nusheen and Josh were such a fun couple to plan with! Throughout the entire process, we enjoyed putting together all of the little details to make their wedding day feel intimate and representative of both of their cultural backgrounds. Nusheen is from a Persian heritage, while Josh was brought up in the South and wanted to incorporate a bit of "Tex Mex." The two concepts are diverse in traditions, but we were able to find little elements of both throughout the design. We used pops of navy blue and copper, with neutrals and lots of greenery to make the gardens feel romantic with a pop of the couple's personal style. The groom and groomsmen put together a beautiful sofreh table for the ceremony–complete with a mirror that has been used in Nusheen's family for decades. To honor Nusheen's father, a single rose was carried down the aisle and placed on his chair in his memory.
SOME SIGNATURE TREATS
The bar held an important role for the couple as Josh had to have his signature margaritas, and so we designed a beautiful statement bar to showcase their drinks. Nusheen's family owned a pistachio farm, so we included raw pistachios as a paper holder for the place cards, and had bagged nuts for guests to take as they departed. Last but not least–the Persian treats! Nusheen's family brought delicious desserts to adorn the cake table, obviously decorated with pistachios!
