About the venue

Are you hungry yet? This incredibly presented and crafted meal was brought to us by the ridiculously creative culinary staff at the St. Regis Hotel. The catering and banquets team at the St. Regis has to be top notch. When your hotel is home to one of the top ten restaurants in the Bay Area (yes we are referring to one and only delectable Ame) you have to be at the top of your game as a blushing bride comes to you with high expectations. As a planner here in the area, I can assure you that they never disappoint. The hotel is located in an upscale neighborhood and the banquet rooms and terraces used for wedding celebrations are exquisite, so your meal must be the same.
The flavors are always spectacular. From seasonal fresh fruit to locally caught fish, the culinary team (yes, even for banquets) sources most of their ingredients from local farms and growers, and uses a selection of artisan bakeries and cheese-makers. As any chef with tell you, the presentation accounts for more than half of your experience. The proper presentation can make a "good dish" extraordinary but it can also make a great dish... just OK. At the St. Regis you get both: perfect flavors married with color and presentation. It is just wonderful! The attention to detail is remarkable - many of us consider it edible art.
Take a look at the gorgeous trio of appetizers presented above. The bight crimson color of the soup shooter, paired alongside a colorful medley of roasted vegetable skewers, and of course it would not be the St. Regis if they didn't serve a run-of-the-mill slider. This tasty little bite is an American Kobe beef slider with aged Hooks cheddar, a fried quail egg, and a dollop of spicy Russian dressing - YUM.

I Do Venues wants to recognize the talented team of wedding professionals who helped to make this bride's dream a reality: Photographer - Larissa Cleveland Photography; Coordinators - Lisa Blake of Bellissima Vita and Barry Peterson of St. Regis; Floral - Huckleberry Karen Designs; Lighting - Creative Lighting Design.
