How To Have An Epic Elopement In A Barn

Midnight Dreamer

In an age where formal dining rooms are giving way to eat-in-kitchens, it's no wonder that couples are looking to escape some of the formalities of traditional weddings. But, just because you are looking for a more laid-back affair doesn't mean it has to be any less elegant. This earthy elopement in a barn proves that, if done right, a vintage wooden structure can have all the ambiance of a gilded ballroom, it's all in how you look at it. By amping up the florals and the fashion, this team transformed this rustic space into an enchanting venue.

A Blush Moment wanted to show couples that you don't need to choose between elegance and comfort, you can have your (wedding) cake and eat it too! Cambium Farms is such a unique venue because it's a blank slate that allows couples to bring their dream wedding to life. These vibrant arrangements by Ruth Chin Events fill the space and create the whimsical atmosphere that makes this shoot so magical. We also love how Jeff Shuh Photography played with light and shadow in these intimate photos. CREATING A FREE SPACE

Midnight Dreamer

With micro weddings and picnics in the park on the rise, what better way to host an intimate wedding than to incorporate both. The creative team at A Blush Moment decided to go with a warmer palette of burnt orange and evergreen as it complements the original wood of the barn and its surroundings. As the world moves towards a more eco-friendly environment we wanted to keep that in mind while designing our space. We wanted to create a space where couples could forget about the formalities of a traditional wedding and really focus on just the two of them–because sometimes two is all you need.

TYING IT ALL TOGETHER

Midnight Dreamer

Dolce Artist created gorgeous place cards using dried orange slices which tied in beautifully with the florals by Ruth Chin Events as well as the delicious menu provided by En Ville Event Design & Catering. The ladies at Blushing Belles glammed up our beautiful bride who wore two gowns from White Toronto. Our groom wasn't too shabby himself as he had a luxe suit from Garrison Bespoke and a custom bow tie from House Of Tytan. No detail was left out as they were all perfectly captured by Jeff Shuh Photography.
