wild bohemian wedding

After two years of planning their best day ever, this next couple had the bohemian Tuscan wedding they always dreamed of at the beautiful Bella Collina. Their wedding is as extra as they come and totally fit for this boho queen and her king.

There are SO many personal details throughout this wedding that really make it shine bright. From the custom jackets to the gorgeous ceremony + sweetheart table, this couple refused to settle for anything less. It just goes to show that if you enjoy the planning process and focus on what’s most important, your wedding will be everything you could have imagined and so much more! Being Extra

From the bride: If you knew us or anything about our wedding...well then you know how EXTRA I am especially when it comes to our love and our wedding that we planned for over two years, our dream come true Bohemian Tuscany wedding. Well, ladies and gentlemen, we are proof that if you just remember to focus on your love, faith and just truly take in every moment your dream wedding day will be everything you could have imagined and so much more.

We decided to take a two-year engagement so that we could enjoy and take in every moment through this incredible experience of planning our wedding. We were apart of all the details and memories it took to make our Bohemian Tuscany wedding become a reality.

Bride to bride: PLAN a first look

Although every single part of every single detail did not go unnoticed and made the night as unforgettable as it was, I would still say as cheesy as it may sound my favorite part was hands-down our first look. Although I feel like the first look has definitely become more of a trend I do feel like it is still taken for granted or misunderstood as a moment that could take away how it feels seeing each other walk down the aisle for the first time. Trust me folks it does not change anything, it’s a completely different feeling and a completely different cry.

Doing a first look was one of the best decisions we ever made. We got to see each other before all attention was on us as well as everybody wanting our attention. We got to focus on each other, hold each other and be in the moment with just each other and of course, the man who captured it all our photographer. I may be getting overly detailed about this part but bride to bride, if you are debating on a first look trust me on this decision, it will be the only moment you to have together by yourselves to take in the most magical day of your lives.

2 years in the making

I’m not kidding when I say this I could literally write a book about our one day because our one day was my most favorite day, every single thing came together perfectly! Our wedding venue at Bella Collina was out of this world, trust me if someone were to blindfold you and take you there you would definitely think you were in Italy. Our florist, Rochelle from InBloom gave it that edge and boho vibe all at the same time, while my bridesmaids were the best girl gang around. Not to mention our first dance that we practiced for almost 2 years which turned out so amazing you would definitely think we were professional dancers that were definitely going to take home a gold medal. The food, the desserts, the display of assorted french fries and different aïoli sauces when you got to your tables since hubby loves french fries. Literally, everything was what every bride hopes, dreams, loses sleep over, prays, and plans her life for to turn out like and honestly so much more.

The takeaway: Don't ever settle!

I would honestly love to thank Wedding Chicks for everyday inspiration when it came to planning and making me see and feel that being unique and staying true to your style is exactly what us brides need to do, even if it means planning it yourself or hiring your mom as your wedding planner *wink wink*. Don’t ever settle if it’s not what you envisioned. I hope my rambling helps a bride know that it’s all worth it but don’t forget, take a deep breath and never ever lose focus of the man you are marrying on that very special day because everyone is there for you two and it’s all about you two.
