Valle di Badia
If you are looking for some boho-chic inspiration and you are in love with Tuscany, you should truly consider the ancient hamlet of Valle di Badia as your perfect location. Here, at the core of this charming countryside, Alessandro Colle Photo portrayed the luxury work by Diva events by Imagination Factory and its strong team of local providers. View all these wonderful photos to find ideas for a true boho-chic wedding and discover the magical atmosphere of this small, romantic hamlet created by fairies to make you wish you would never leave.
Tuscany is among the most popular wedding destinations. There is plenty of magnificent villas and palaces located nearby Florence, Siena and in the Chianti area, but if you are looking for something cozier and different, why don’t you opt for a whole XVIII hamlet with private gardens, surrounded by peace and silence?
It might be hard to believe: in Valle di Badia, it’s like if time stopped 300 years ago and it looks like it’s just waiting for you to make your dream come true.
A romantic, retro-bohemian setting for your wedding ceremony. An antique XIX Singer sewing machine with an ornamental cast iron base is an astonishing altar for your symbolic wedding ritual… “to sew 2 hearts in their beautiful love dream”. But that is not all: there are a XVIII church candlestick in golden wood turned into a romantic lamp, an ancient holy bible with black and gold binding and a bunch of wild herbs and pink berries to be used to keep the rings too.
This time, DivaEventsbyImaginationFactory turned the ancient Saint Michael chapel is a refined and essential backdrop: if the ancient chapel is not there, the blessing would not be as memorable!
Gipsy vibes for the newlyweds
Le spose di Mori chose a romantic Immaculada Garcia wedding dress for Eleonora, embellished by a wide embroidered skirt made of a two-layer silk tulle. The precious bustier is made with delicate drape lace to enhance the waistline, while the plunging neckline outlines the bride’s stunning complexion. A pair of nude sandals and a cute floral ankle accessory perfectly complete the pureness of this elegant outfit. Together with the nude makeup, the hairdo is the final and sophisticated detail: a smooth braid tied with a lace ribbon and decorated with hydrangea, astilbe, wax flowers, groundsel… the result? A “simply adorable” bride.
Pio opted for a made in Italy dandy allure. Le spose di Mori selected a Cleofe Finati wedding suit for him, made with precious bright fabric in dusty pink and plum colours. An ivory white French-cuff shirt is ideal to be combined with a bowtie and high waist belt, suspenders or a smart waistcoat. The nuance of the romantic rose in his boutonniere perfectly matched the shirt, together with delicate astilbes and wax flowers.
THE FLORALS & THE BOUQUET
All wedding décor features an elegant colour palette spanning from dusty pink to burgundy with bright purple shades, enhanced by the grapes, berries and purple avocado that complete the table setting. The flower selection is unique and sophisticated, elegantly balancing the irresistible beauty of quicksand roses, dahlias, and peonies, the genuine simplicity of wax flowers and astilbes and the graciousness of Amaranthus caudatus roses. The voluminous hydrangeas add a seamless touch to the décor, resembling the shapes and colours of the marvellous bushes located everywhere in the gardens.
The stylish flower bouquet features some greenery, combined with groundsel and plum Amaranthus caudatus, resembling the other elements and creating new combinations.
The table settings could but be characterised by contrasts and a gracious balance. The sumptuous white wooden imperial table dominates the round courtyard, paved with ancient stones. Located in the centre of the table, there is a huge branch candlestick that expertly turns into a floating floral chandelier.
The table is decorated with precious squared mauve and light grey plates, antique silver cutlery, multifaceted crystal glasses, white retro lace centrepieces placed underneath the bread plates made in transparent glass. Moreover, the antique porcelain cups appropriately combine with berries and flowers to recreate a tiny, enchanted dream forest kept in glass cases placed on soft moss, mixed with scalloped-edged
metal bowls full of flowers and fruit. Two large eucalyptus branches and flower bouquets placed on the backrest mark the spouses’ seats.
The same branches run along the table on both sides gently sticking outwardly to end with a floral lantern.
Antique keys and small items complete this wonderful table setting: a set of gracious details to resemble the ancient vibes of this hamlet and enhance the uniqueness of this moment.
The charming fairy-tale never stops. Located in the stunning gardens there is a romantic swing, hung on a branch of one of the large trees of the park, made by an expert artisan specifically for Valle Di Badia.
The ring, made in wrought iron, symbolizes the perfect union and is embellished with hazelnut tree branches, dahlias, hydrangeas, roses and amaranthus.
THE SWEET TABLE
The splendid and romantic Granary Hall becomes the perfect setting for a fabulous and evocative sweet table, where colour and style balance perfectly thanks to the selected details. And, this dreamy atmosphere, the moment to cut the wedding cake finally arrives. The colour palette ranges from light pink to lilac, burgundy, fuchsia, bright purple and grey shades. Silk drapes smoothly outline the elements placed on the white round table, lit by the big antique candlestick while, on the floor, flowers, candles and a magical lantern complete the atmosphere.
A lilac ruffle cake dominates the table, decorated with peonies, purple hydrangeas, dahlias and berries and kept under a beautiful glass case. Ready to be presented on a glass cake riser, there is also a light pink cake, decorated with sugar petals that combine to form a rare flower. A precious box for sugared almonds elegantly resembles the soft palette of colours.
