From Cheers! Chicago Events: More than ever, couples desire their wedding to be truly unique and special, down to every last detail. "Wowing" their guests is a must. Our vendor team wanted to create a shoot that was extraordinarily colorful, vibrant and contemporary. The Chicago Room in the Chicago History Museum is a classic wedding venue that was the perfect blank canvas to show off the spectrum of colors in our palette (neon orange, black, and silver with accents of yellow, hot pink and teal) and the unusual textures in our design.

For the ceremony, the Chicago Room has beautiful, stained glass windows so all we did to accent the space was use alternating black and white mirage chairs, with metallic lanterns creating the aisle. For the ceremony focal point, we created an asymmetrical design using modern silver vases filled with large, green palms on white, rectangular pedestals, which tied into our escort card table. The escort table also used a variation of modern silver vessels with palms that allowed our teal paper "gem" escort cards to really stand out.

bright + Bold details

All of the lively stationery was created by a local watercolor artist. For our main dining table, we wanted to incorporate multiple styles of floral combinations that caught your eye. Modern linens allowed our bold florals to really pop. The amazing, four-tier cake incorporated our main colors of black and neon orange, with dainty, handmade sugar flowers (that matched our bride's reception gown perfectly!) and lifelike ranunculus, with the bottom tier showcasing the Chicago Skyline using dots in a Seurat-style .
