Flannel Fling before the ring
For this busy doctor, nothing sounded more perfect than a cozy Bachelorette weekend in Beaver Creek with her favorite girls! Lauren, a Plastic Surgery Resident in Dallas, had her girlfriends meet her in Texas, where they were whisked away on a private jet to the mountains of Colorado! Lauren’s signature color is RED, so the whole weekend was planned around a red, black, and white flannel theme. Upon arrival to their family mountain chateau, the girls were welcomed with monogrammed black tote bags topped off with red buffalo check bows and the “Flannel Fling Before the Ring" weekend itinerary. The bags included flannel-monogrammed jammies, matching snow hats, slippers, and an essentials kit (complete with Kind bars, hand cream, and lip balm)!
S'mores and champagne
Coordinating floral arrangements, signs, candles, and Texas-sized balloons filled the house creating the perfect amount of décor and ambiance. The Hot Chocolate Bar featured the “Oh Hot Zam” (Lauren’s nickname in college) – a spiked hot chocolate with Frangelico liqueur, marshmallows and chocolate shavings. Private chefs from Red Maple Catering created a delectable mountain-themed dinner, followed by dessert with the Bride-to-Be’s two favorite sweets… S’mores and Champagne!
The girls met their “Glam Squad” at the house to become “Mountain Cozy” ready! After some hair, make-up and a lot of cranberry mimosas, this flannel crew was ready for their close-ups! Toni Axelrod created a scenic mountain photo-shoot for the ladies, full of photos both inside the chateau and outside in the glistening snow! The final night was spent at the Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch with dinner at WYLD, followed by dancing and more dancing at Bachelor’s Lounge.
