Emily and Casey's wedding theme was glitzy and glamorous with Aztec-inspired details. Sounds like a interesting blend ... right? In fact, Emily wasn't one hundred percent sure about the theme and details she wanted.
In stepped The Barn! This creative Arkansas wedding team picked out the common themes in her Pinterest boards and ran with it, and as you see it turned out incredible! See for yourself what all this glitter and glam barn wedding with a sprinkle of Aztec has to offer in the full gallery here. All captured by Melissa McCrotty Photography.
trust in your vendors
Emily and Casey were married at The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch on May 31, 2014. It poured on their wedding day, which only added to the beauty of their pictures! Here's what Emily had to say about the rain: "It poured on and off all week and then Saturday came. No big deal, right? Just the day I had waited my entire life for and it was supposed to rain. And it did, it rained off and on. Here is the absolutely most wonderful part though, I actually wasn’t worried or upset. Heck, I was marrying the love of my life rain or shine, my dad was going to walk me down the aisle AND I was getting married at THE BARN. I knew that The Barn would take care of any problems that arose and I would never even know or have a worried thought about it."
all inclusive venue: the barn
The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch is an all-inclusive venue. Our collections include everything a couple needs on their wedding day, excluding a photographer and an officiant. All our brides have to do on the day of their wedding is show up, put on a pretty dress, smile for a ton of photos, marry the love of their life, and having a big ol' fancy party with their loved ones! We take care of the flowers, ALL the tiny details, coordination, set-up and tear-down, and every other aspect of a couple's big day. We have several preferred vendors that we also partner with, including caterers, DJs, bakeries and more.
first look with parents
Advice to future brides: If you're into the first look moment, do it! And don't rush it worrying that you need to be doing something else. Taking that time with the person you are about to wed makes all the difference. For me, it resonated that I was about to become a wife and life partner to my husband and all the sudden our wedding meant so much more. Also, have a first look with your dad/mom. Giving away their daughter is a big deal and is a moment they deserve to have time set aside for to! I am so grateful my dad asked for a first look because seeing his face was priceless!
