English woodland design
From All Buttoned Up Events: Our inspiration was all based off a woodland setting with an English flair. We created three unique spaces on the farm's property and carried the theme throughout. It was a labor of love from a group of vendors determined to put something together that would be innovative and could reflect potential new trends.
We collected almost 50 logs to serve as the ceremony backdrop and covered them in greens, floral and candles. For the "aisle" we used the pages from book to lead up to the ceremony site. I don’t know that we could have created a more picturesque setting that was completed with log seating for all guests.
Whimsical and natural
Playing off the whimsical setting, the "attendees" of the wedding were English storybook characters like "Black Beauty" and the "Velveteen Rabbit". Nature is the fundamental element of the design and this was achieved with a wood table topped with moss, mushroom, flowers and other elements you would find in a forest. Moss covered books flanked a asymmetrical statement piece in the center of the table. I believe every event should have a theme and consistent elements to be carried throughout so it is evident to your guests without being over-done. While this is a whimsical setting, I can confidently say I know this wouldn’t be too far fetched for some of our boho loving brides.
Nature inspired florals
From Val with Love Greyson: My inspiration for my floral work is always an organic approach, which is inspired by nature, so this design came rather easy for me. The color pallet of rich jewel tones and green elements are some of my favorite tones to work with. I knew I wanted something unexpected so designing a timeless handheld bouquet that draped at the models side was perfect. From the flowers that draped the ceremony decor down to the blooms that seemed to "grow" out of the table were by far some of my favorite elements from this shoot.
