It’s only been a few weeks since we wrote anything about Disney, but TBH, even a few weeks is too long. That’s why we were so excited to see the Allure Bridals and Disney Fairy Tale Weddings collaborative collection officially drop today. Disney. Princesses. Sparkle. Tulle. All kinds of magic instilled into a 16-dress debutante lineup - it’s a total dream come true.
We’ve actually seen Disney-inspired dresses done before, but this is a better matchup than we could have ever imagined. From day one, Allure Bridals has been recognized as a romantic and whimsical bridal house, so it just makes sense that they would join forces with the couturier imagineers at Disney and roll out an infinitely-iconic capsule. One that’s chic over cliché, charming over caricatured.
If you’ll remember, we covered the anticipated launch back on Valentine’s Day - but now we know exactly what these dresses look like. The spellbinding sketches have come to life, and the reality of 16 perfect silhouettes, based on beloved Disney heroines is more-than major.
“From fearless and flowy to dazzling and dreamy, the bridal wear line includes 16 gowns designed to capture the spirit of Disney Princess characters such as Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Tiana, Rapunzel and Snow White – with the gem of this collection being the stunning Cinderella gown. Designed to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the classic animated film, the Cinderella gown is complete with over 4,600 crystals for the ultimate sparkle!”
The ‘I’m Getting Married, What’s the Process for Becoming a Princess” Plan.
“The highly-anticipated line is two-fold – The Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Collection, which consists of nine gowns, with prices starting at $1,200, and the Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Platinum Collection, which is comprised of seven elevated designs available exclusively at Kleinfeld Bridal stores in New York and Toronto, with prices starting at $3,500.”
Both legends-in-the-making assortments are now officially available at select bridal retailers across the United States and Canada. And, spoiler alert, you don’t need to fit any stereotypical princess profile to look positively Queen-like in these looks. The gowns are available in sizes 0-30 and the aesthetics are finessed to fit every woman on the hunt for her own happily ever after.
