The First Dance That Started It All
Ashley and Seth's romantic meeting was something out of a Jane Austen novel: they danced together at a mutual friend's wedding, and afterwards, he asked the groom, his best friend, who the beautiful girl he danced with was, because he absolutely needed to see her again.
Their first dance then blossomed into something much more, and they became engaged on their trip to Seattle for Seth's 29th birthday. When their big day finally arrived, Ashley was dressed perfectly for their fairytale wedding in a princess-style ball gown by Maggie Sottero, which she found in El Paso's Ella Blu Bridal boutique.
Magnolia Trees, Roses & Lavender
Like all other couple's planning a wedding in 2020, their plans soon became less solid and more on-the-fly, and after changing venues several times, they settled on a stunning manor outside their home state of New Mexico: The Woodbine Mansion in Austin, Texas. With the property surrounded by grand magnolia trees and adorned with elegant white rose bushes, the pair exchanged their vows under an arbor covered in peach and white florals.
Her bouquet consisted of garden roses and ranunculus, along with hints of lavender in honor of their original venue: Los Poblanos Lavender Farm. The head table was a dark wood, which caused the ivory table runner to pop. Matching the rest of the wedding, there were delicate golden details amongst plenty of gorgeous greenery.
Sweet Sweet Day
The couple's cake was by Classy Cakes by Lori, and it too reflected their theme for the day: clean and simple, with dainty florals to produce an elegant result. They then ended the night the same way they had met: dancing at a wedding, but this time, it was their own. The guests all lined up to send them off with an eco-friendly bubbles exit, and the pair then rode off into the night in their sleek vintage car.
