After dating for eight years, when this couple got engaged they didn't waste any time getting to the altar. With the help of their coordinator/event designer extraordinaire, Joelle Duff of A Charming Occasion, Brett and Stefanie got married at the Westlake Village Inn after just three months of planning. Using DIY projects and florals arrangements created by a friend, this bride had the bright, colorful wedding of her dreams.

From the Bride:I envisioned our wedding as a way to celebrate our love with those who have supported us as we’ve grown together over the last eight years. Call me crazy, but I wanted a short engagement! Why wait to marry your best friend, when everything seems to be falling into place? As soon as I found out that the Westlake Village Inn was available on the date we had in mind, we booked it immediately. Three months later, we were married!
A Charming Occasion helped me plan all of the details, from the canvases she wrote on with my favorite quotes, to our beautiful ribbon backdrop for the ceremony. Everything just fell into place perfectly, and the day was truly more than I ever dreamt it to be. She also helped me bring together the Anthropologie vases I just loved, and my obsession with pink and bright colors.
On the Venue:Westlake Village Inn offers a wide range of outdoor ceremony sites, from the popular Tuscan Garden to our very own working vineyard located on the northernmost part of the property. In addition to outdoor venues, we have five indoor rooms, some with adjacent patios perfect for your reception. Each of the banquet rooms are situated over the lake with large windows, natural light, and sweeping views. The Inn offers numerous affordable wedding packages or our dedicated coordinators can plan a custom dream wedding. With so many options, the Westlake Village Inn is the perfect venue for any size of wedding!
I will be honest... I wouldn't change one thing about my wedding. In my opinion everything was perfect right down to almost everyone staying until the venue had to turn the lights on! We even had people from other weddings at the venue stopping in towards the end getting our DJs business card! I think this has to do with the fact our engagement was short so I had to make choices and didn't have time to look back and second guess anything I was doing. Plus with a small wedding we knew everyone that was there really well and could just relax and have fun.
