The Perfect Venue

From the bride: When we were planning the wedding, we knew we wanted something intimate and personal, yet a total party at the same time. After we (I have no idea how) landed the perfect venue, Villa Montalvo, everything kind of fell into place over the next eight months.

Simple And Elegant Decor

Villa Montalvo is gorgeous, so it wasn’t hard making it look beautiful. I am not a huge fan of color, so we kept everything black, white, and cream with a touch of candlelight. We took full advantage of the site, utilizing all the tall Italian cypress, white roses, and beautiful grounds. Our florist completely understood our vision and everything looked gorgeous drenched in white hydrangeas.

For the budget breakdown, here is where we ended up:
Venue 19%
Catering (Food, Open Bar, Rentals) 41%
Dress (With Alterations), Accessories, Veil, and Shoes 6%
Hair and Makeup 1%
Bridesmaids Hair, Makeup, and Gifts 2%
Florals and Candals 6%

Groom's Tux 3%
Wedding Bands (Rings) 3%
Photography 6%

The catering and venue accounted for over half the budget. It was a plated dinner, and it also included an open bar. We also did all our rentals through them as well. The venue put us a little over budget, but totally worth it.
