Words from The Vendors

The concept was simple. Yellow wild flowers from the field make up her bouquet, rustic wood chargers and driftwood garland, peppered with antique silver goblets create the table setting. The invitations are made on actual linen, as paper wouldn't have been used in old England--the place cards mirror the banners that soldiers would have carried on their horses as they went to court for dueling and socializing. The menu is full of fruits of the sea, scallops, fish of all shapes and sizes, along with salads and crusty breads.

Tradition and ceremony are still important to many religious unions. A cross made from wood serves as the simple alter for the wedding vows to take place, and the bride rides into the ceremony on her white horse. The mountains, lakes, and trails serve as the perfect location for the wedding dinner and reception. Simple picnic tables made of wood keep with the natural and simple theme. Rough linen for the napkins is hearty and delicate at the same time.
