Beauty Comes In Many Styles

Hanging Edison bulbs and a handmade pallet wall set the industrial tone for their ceremony site where Heidi donned a beaded gown and matching headpiece. Pink peonies from R Love Floral + Events and aqua bridesmaids lent pops of color to the springtime celebration.

Plan On Your Wedding Planner

From the Bride: I wish I would have secured my wedding planner through the end of the night. I did not realize that she was only scheduled until 9 pm until the week before and I ended up having to get the DJ to announce things and have my sister bring the streamers down stairs for our exit. A planner is worth the money and I would have paid a little more for a few extra hours.

Top It Off With A Cake

Their glamorous gold-accented wedding cake sat atop a tower of different flavored cupcakes including some of the couple’s favorites like salted caramel and cookie dough. Concrete candleholders and assorted terrariums completed the look while guests danced the night away under the twinkling Texas stars.

Read on to see how much this aqua and pink rustic wedding cost. Please note that costs change as the years go by, and prices are subject to change. This is just one couple’s breakdown to give you a rough estimate on how much a wedding like this may cost you.

Wedding Planning Tips:

1. Made sure my bustle was very secure. I had my dress stepped on a lot and fortunately I had an extra dress because I had planned on wearing it for my first dance but changed my mind. So I changed into that for the remaining part of the night. It made dancing easier too and more freeing, however I was a little sad my exit photos weren't of my wedding dress. I have had a few friends have trouble with their bustles falling out too when stepped on.

2. I wish I would have had a list of all the family members I wanted to have a picture with and had a close family member stay in charge to make sure they all got a photo. The photographer is not going to know who's part of what side of the family so a family member needs to be able to yell for uncle Bob if he's not there.

3. I also wish I would have done either a receiving line or some how made our way around the tables to greet everyone or them come see us. I know that's a time consuming thing but there has to be a better way to see everyone or most everyone.

4. Make sure it's in your contract. I was dead set on hanging lights outside of our rooftop venue and a few months before a bride did it and ruined some part of the venue so the stop letting people do it. I wish I would have had it in my contract, it almost made me want to move my location, but we were finally able to work something out. With some DIY Christmas lights and ping pong balls we were able to make a light strand light enough that could hang from a 3 m hook.
