Their Love Story

San Francisco couple Sona and Keith said they met “the old-fashioned way,” through a dating app, Coffee Meets Bagel. They dated for 3 years, enjoying each other’s sense of humor, zest for travel, great food, and gathering with their friends to cook and watch Game of Thrones. One day the couple took a walk to a park on top of San Francisco’s Nob Hill neighborhood, and Keith bent down to “tie his shoe.” He came up with a poem and a diamond ring. The poem made Sona laugh, and of course, she said yes!

Day 1

The couple chose to have a multicultural wedding weekend at the rustic and lush Gardener Ranch, nestled in the beautiful Carmel Valley. On Friday the couple celebrated with an Indian ceremony, which began with a colorful Baraat procession to bring the groom to the ceremony. Traditionally a groom might ride into his Baraat on a horse or even an elephant. A rhythmic drummer played and the guests roared when Keith made his grand entrance and rolled out on a decked-out segway!

Sona had her own grand entrance, and she was carried into the ceremony on a traditional Indian palanquin by her brother and male cousins. The day was full of beautiful traditions, bold and bright colors, and lively dancing!

Day 2

On Saturday, the couple held a western-style ceremony, and Sona looked stunning in her BHLDN gown, and Keith handsome in his tuxedo. The day was perfectly accented by Willow and Plum’s soft pink and white florals, including a beautiful ceremony arch with hanging blossoms. Gardener Ranch has so many beautiful spaces, and guests also enjoyed a poolside cocktail hour. At dinner guests dined on a farm-to-table style feast from Paradise Catering. The guests then moved to the checkered floor Clubhouse where Keith and Sona kicked off the party with their first dance.
