7 Times Flower Girls Actually Stole the Bride’s Thunder

I didn’t have a flower girl at my wedding, and I still look through our wedding album and feel like our bridal party photos are totally out of balance. Sure, our squad was an attractive bunch, but it was missing an extra dose of adorableness that could only come from one or two tulle-wearing tinies toting little baskets of blooms ((Our ring bearer did a good job holding it down for the guys, of course)).

As soon as the littles start sashaying into the ceremony, it’s all over; guests start gushing and snapping photos, and the bride nearly misses her cue to start processing down the aisle. And it’s OK, simply because they’re children and can do no wrong. MMMMhmmm 😉.

Well, we rounded up some of the best flower girl moments we’ve seen on Instagram lately, and we’re going to dive into the cuteness factor of each photo one by one.

But before we get started....

If you’re on the hunt for something sweet and sassy for your littlest sisters, you might want to check out Fattiepie. The small-but-mighty flower girl mavens have been in the game since 2006, turning out tutus that have stolen the hearts of moms and their mini mes in the time it takes to complete one twirl 🦄. The aesthetic is unique and classic, with a modern twist - and the dresses are made to order with pretty lace, luxurious satin and delicate tulle. The expertly experienced in-house seamstress team adds just the right personal touch to every design. Kissed with total tender. love. and care.

Not sure if it’s the pearl bracelet, the flower crown, the soft baby curls or the frothy flower girl tulle that has us feeling ALL the feels, but this little one is unbelievably adorable.

Wait. We want in on this getting-ready-to-primp party. Fancy floral robes aren’t just for the big girls. Their expressions say it all - “we’re a big deal and we know it….”

The junior bridesmaid who had to walk down the aisle twinning with these two (dressed in the Florence gown) will forever remember where everyone was directing their attention. And it wasn’t at her glitter ballet flats, we’ll say that. Handkerchief style soft tulle and side French braids FTW.

This is a closed conversation between a bride and her tiny ballerina. Pretty sure the new Mrs. is asking the bun-wearing beauty how she got to be so damn cute. Or telling her where the potty is… We’ll never know.

A little distracted, but it’s all good, she’s got an escort and her stylin' Grace gown

This smartie knows the importance of taking a timeout when it’s needed. Weddings are tough stuff. Oh, and it’s okay, we’re mesmerized by tulle, too...

The future is female, right?
